World records

The ialc investigated who the current world record holders are in the each discipline, in the single and team competitions. The on the homepage available files show who obtained the highest score in which world championship.

A world record can only be established in the course of a world championship. If somebody would like to file a world record achieved during a country championship, at least two neutral members of the technical commission of the ialc must be invited as neutral observers. The world record attempt (name of the attempting competitor and discipline) needs to be announced in advance. The members of the ialc will check the conditions of the competition and the measurements. In addition, the country proposing the world record attempt needs to be member of the ialc. Only results checked by the ialc in the above described way will be the accepted as world record.
